Marinette finds Adrien’s AO3 page and it’s all LadyNoir Fic which she’s mildly put off by but it’s ADRIEN’s so of course she’s still gonna read it. But then it ends up that practically none of it is fluff, it’s all angst and hurt/comfort where Chat’s playfulness is a mask for his grief and trauma and drive for self-harm and Ladybug is literally the only thing in his life that helps him. Marinette’s like “wow this is deep and believable and I’m really glad Chat isn’t actually like this because if he were I’d be really worried about him”
And then in-fic Chat mentions something that she only told real Chat and Marinette’s brain immediately screams straight through six levels of Defcon Fuck
